The light at the end of this pandemic

Vaccine roll-out is underway worldwide, lockdown has shown its effectiveness – a necessary evil for a greater cause!

What about your overseas products/orders?

The Suez Canal event was another straw that broke the camel’s back – Thousands of containers held up on numerous ships had to wait 6 days to cross the canal. Creating significant delays in the unloading of containers at all seaports around the world, thus causing a “shortage” of available containers around the world. Since the start of the pandemic, the flow of maritime movements has been slowed down, even prompting the cancellation of some ships. Fewer ships in ports means less space, which equates to wild price hikes and volatile price adjustments.

To be transparent, it’s not a walk in the park for our operations to find a reliable carrier that’s willing to ship and quote those outrageous prices.

We are doing our best in each specific circumstance and for each client. We know this is a temporary situation… We recognize that it will take time for the market to stabilize and become steady or stable. Throughout it all, we’ve been here to support our customers.

It is a pleasure to serve in these difficult times. Thank you for your loyalty and trust!
